Kazunobu is Perseus's expy, and the son of Gin's deceased adoptive third cousin twice-removed, Akakiba. He first appears in a flashback in chapter 2 of him as a puppy with his mother and five siblings at their den. A bear attacked them and killed Kazunobu's mother. He and his siblings survived and were nursed by another female.
